Don't Worry About Tomorrow  --

Many People have asked me, “How is MC funded?”  Some assume that we’re under the Christian Appalachian Project—we’re not.  Some think we get grants—not yet.  I’d like to say that we trust that God will provide—He has!  It’s been amazing to see the various donations come in by way of supplies, time, skills and financial gifts.
One example of this was last summer when all of our lawn mowers were broken.  Maytown local Clinton Terry happened to come by to rent the Gathering Place (the former lunchroom).  He saw all the broken parts.  Clinton just happens to fix equipment, and offered to fix ours, which he has continued to do.  What a gift!  Another gift has come in the news that the county will be insuring the playground and walking track.  Thank you to all of you who have helped to keep things going here at MC.

We believe God will continue to meet the needs.  Last year we spent $20,480, and brought in $20,495, $15.00 more than what we spent!  We trust that God will continue to take care of this adventure of Maytown as we grow.  May we all be trusting in God, who knows and wants to provide for all our needs.
