Thanks for keeping the spirit of Maytown alive. Since I grew up there, I propably did not see much of the bad and only focused on the good. It was a great place to be a kid in the 50's and 60's. I have also witnessed its demise after the high school was consolidated. You are to be congratulated on reclaiming some of that spirit. You are doing God's work and he rewards those who watch over his people. Thank you for all you do and God bless you and your work.

Hello All-I would like to say a small bit about my cousin Dan Chauncy.Though I have not seen him in ages,he is one of the most positive and inspiring men I have ever known.I am living in a struggling,gang problem urban area outside Baltimore,Md. and working with young(AT-RISK they are called)teens that I come into contact with as a maintenance manager here in a 600 home community of privately owned Townhouses.I fix their bikes,give them odd jobs and even the occasional "wake up" chat.I feel overwhelmed and powerless at times,but it is Dan's example of faith and commitment that I often embrace and get back on track with.When we were kids,Dan and I would have the most unusual of conversations,rife with crazy cryptic humor,about everything and anything(or nothing!)that would have us both laughing silly at ourselves.I think we were both reveling in the fact that there WAS SOMEONE ELSE who saw life through the same glass.I'm sure many in Maytown feel the same as I do.I am proud to know Dan Chauncy.Please remember to pray for Dan's brother Bud's daughter(leukemia) this Christmas.Merry Christmas to all.Thanks Danny!Your ol'buddy,Mark Franz.
