Meridzo's Maytown Center is a faith- based community center that functions under the non-profit name "Alive in the Mountains, Inc. "

The Maytown Center exists to unlock the potential of individuals and like-minded organizations to build community, encourage hope, and change lives.

NEEDED: Volunteers to help with after-school program on Mon, Tues & Wed afternoons to begin August 19. Volunteer one day or three per week. Help with homework, mentor & have fun with students grades 3-6. For information, call Carol at 606-285-0539.

Free Nutrition Classes!
If you want to lose weight, or just learn to eat healthier, join us in the Gathering Place, or old lunchroom, from 6-6:30 for the next 6 Mondays for fun, free (healthy) food, and learning. See you there!
Maytown Center Concert Series
A series of free concerts beginning Thursday, April 4, 7 p.m.
April 4: Nashville Recording Artist Kinsey Rose, with Brooklyn Conley. In the Gathering Place (old lunchroom).
May 25: Free Gospel Concert featuring Master's Harmony, Unity, and Troy Burchett. In the Gathering Place (old lunchroom).
June 13: Classic rock band, Wanted. This concert will be held on the lawn in conjunction with Maytown/CrossRoads Summer Celebration.
June 27: Bluegrass Night featuring The Tommy Webb Band. Opening for Tommy is Mountain Melody.
July 11: Country and Bluegrass singer, Josh Martin. Opening act TBA.
July 25: Country night with Jo-Leigh. Opening act TBA.
